ADU Build-Outs & Whole-Home Remodeling

Bigger projects need a contractor who handles the paperwork as well as the build. As a licensed general contractor, Ambrocini Construction takes on ADU build-outs, additions and whole-house remodels from our base in Canoga Park across the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles.

We have more than 25 years in the trade, and we prepare and submit the permit application, coordinate the required plans and documentation, and schedule the inspections — you never have to stand in line at the building department.

Why the permit process shapes a large project

An accessory dwelling unit, an addition or a whole-house remodel is a series of steps that depend on each other: plans, permit approval, construction, and inspections at set stages. A general contractor’s job is to keep those steps moving in the right order, so inspectors sign off as the work progresses rather than discovering problems at the end.

Large projects are also where payment terms matter most. Your written contract ties payments to completed milestones, so you pay for finished stages of work, never far ahead of it. For homeowners in Sherman Oaks, Studio City, North Hollywood and the West Valley who want to spread the cost, we can also explain how third-party project financing works.

ADU & Home Remodeling questions

Do you handle permits for ADUs and additions?

Yes. We prepare and submit the permit application to the local building department, coordinate the required plans and documentation, and schedule inspections as the work progresses. Permit fees are billed at cost as part of your estimate.

Can I renovate several rooms in one project?

Yes. A whole-house remodel combines rooms into a single project with one contract, one schedule and one point of contact, instead of hiring separate trades for each room.

Is financing available for larger projects?

Ambrocini Construction is the contractor, not the lender, but we can explain how third-party project financing works so you can compare options. See our project financing page for details.
